I found the best thing to my boyfriend’s birthday… It’s really hard to find cool and still unique.
So today I saw this thing from ZTARLET on facebook where you can name a real star in heaven and have the certificate and a teddy bear sent to you and pay it by a single SMS. So awesome

I agree: not a real sandwich! The inside layers of the bread should be touching the contents. Disqualified! Personally, I think it doesn’t count unless both sides are from the same loaf of bread.

Also, there should probably be butter or mayo, ideally some horseradish. A sandwich with only the Earth in it is pretty bland.

Mad props to the terrestrial delicatessen workers. I’m wondering two things, though. First, how do you know your sandwich wasn’t, you know, skew with one piece rotated maybe 90 degrees across the axis of the other? Second, why not cut the baguette in half, throw one half in the garbage, put the other cut-side down on the ground and there you have it: OPEN-FACED Earth sandwich.

Now all I need is a little Tabasco.

Interesting, but… do you really put both of your pieces of bread facing the same way? For a true sandwich, the bottom must be face up and the top must be face down, so for an Earth sandwich both pieces must face down. Think about that next time you’re slicing that hunk of salami.

Awesome, great, nice, sincere, way to go, cool, delicious, credence given, sportsiest, excellent, okay…I guess (which adjective is mine!?!)effort gents!

I live in Christchurch, New Zealand and I tried (and failed) to make the Earth Sandwich by e-mailing every hotel, backpackers, restuarant, etc that I could find in Viveiro, Spain (opposite Christchurch)….but didn’t get one response!…even with a link to Ze’s page!

I guess this task required the steely determination of the Brit’s!

umm..cool video. but did you cut the bread in the half? i didnt see that part. if you put a whole piece of bread on the ground while the one on the other side is cut in half then you didnt really make a sandwich…
